The House System has been introduced in the school to foster an atmosphere of camaraderie, cooperation, and healthy competition amongst the students. The main aim of the House System is to provide a space to encourage community feeling, fraternity and encouraging peer relationships. This is a space which encourages fraternity outside the classroom - it is an opportunity for the young students to look up to their seniors for guidance, and in return the seniors look out for and support the younger ones. In addition to that, these houses also compete against each other in sports and other co-curricular activities, which aids in a spirit of healthy competition and house loyalty in the school.
Students from Standard I and above are each allocated a School House at random. Each School House will be led by a School House Captain, who will be assisted by their respective Vice Captains. From Vth Standard onwards, every class will have house monitors who will report to these captains. The in-house coordination of every house will be overseen by House Teachers - in - charge who will report to the House Master.
The four houses of North East Public School are - Bhimbor Deori House, Kanaklata Baruah House, Pratima Barua Pandey House and Syed Abdul Malik House.
